Dear Julie, I am a new mother with two-month-old-triplets.  I used to for my older child scrap-book family albums with friends at least once a month but I’m not leaving the house much right now.   How do I stay on top of photo journals for the kids?  I can barely keep track of what picture was taken when let alone send our friends and family updates.  Are there any tricks to this that other Moms have told you about?

Dear Frenzy,

It sounds like you are ready to join the rest of us in the world of blogging.  I know most of you are familiar with this but for those of you who are not a blog site is a website that you create to share stories and information.  Those you want to share it with you simply give them the site and then you can update whenever you wish.

Lots of busy Moms use blog-sites to update family and friends.  Some are free of cost and some even pay you money if you’re willing to advertise some of their products. My site is very simple.  I download pictures weekly and write a paragraph or two.  At the end of the month I print out what I’ve written and make multiple copies for when it’s time to scrap book.  It was really fun to do when I was getting ready to deliver for that month of waiting around.  It kept me from calling everyone and saying “No, not yet”.

I have seen sites from other triplet parents that have videos and music.  Web sites that keep track of how many hits they get or automatically email your list of friends and family when you’ve posted a new update are also popular.

I will give you a list of the ones I’ve seen.  If you find ones you like better let me know and I’ll share them with the other parents.
